Last summer I finally landed in O’ahu, Hawaii – wedding destination of my friends Jess and Kei. Little I knew that this land was not just a dream.
Makapu’u Lookout
A must-see while driving on the East coast of O’ahu. I mean, look at that water!
Lanikai Beach
You can’t resist jumping in this water!
Laniakea Beach
Her name is Kaimana and she is between 15-20 years old. Since she often rests on this beach to digest (yes – the heat facilitate the digestion), the place is most of the times full of tourists. Luckily there are volunteers making sure no one can get too close to touch the turtles.
Haleiwa
Walking through butterflies and shaved ice
Waiamea Falls park
Stunning trail that leads to a waterfall.
Waiamea Falls
Make sure to bring your swimsuit and jump in the water!
Loulu Palm Estate
At my friends Jess and Kei’s wedding.
Shark’s Cove
Food truck bonanza – Yes, that’s a pineapple drink in a pineapple!
Waikiki, O’ahu
Passage leading to Waikiki beach.
Waikiki, O’ahu
Just any other sunset…
I’ll be back to enjoy many other sunsets and can’t wait to explore different islands next time!
